The CCPA School is a non-profit bilingual school in Asunción, Paraguay, offering high-quality education from Kinder, Elementary School, and High School.
In February 2015, THE CCPA SCHOOL opened its doors to the community by offering the Kindergarten level, basing its high-quality education on qualified teachers committed to education whose principles are continuous reflection, critical thinking, creativity, and values-based education. Since 2017 and currently, it is located in the Mburucuya neighborhood.
With a strong focus on the holistic development of students, the school promotes academic excellence, fluency in English and Spanish, and respect for cultural diversity.
The institution is supported by the history and tradition of the Paraguayan-American Cultural Center (CCPA), which emphasizes biculturalism without diminishing national roots.
The principles guiding the institution's actions are continuous reflection, critical thinking, the promotion of creativity, and education in universal values.
The CCPA SCHOOL is a bilingual school that offers a curriculum in two languages, English and Spanish. The goal is for students to achieve native proficiency in both languages.
To achieve this goal, the methodology includes: Classes taught in both languages and immersion in the language, where students are constantly exposed to the language through activities such as games, music, and art.

The school calendar is the period during which all educational activities are conducted. It includes the preparation, execution, and evaluation of educational actions and is governed by the ministry's calendar.
The school year starts on February 1 and ends in the third week of December.
The school calendar includes approximately 186 days. The school year is divided into two terms: the first term starts in February and ends in June, while the second term starts in July and ends in November. Winter vacations are scheduled for July, according to the annual calendar set by the Ministry of Education.
Students wear uniforms, which can be purchased at the school.

The library is open from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM for students to use during class time or for independent study.
The loan period for books is ten days, renewable as long as the material has not been previously reserved by someone else.
Library materials are also available for parents, who can borrow them after school hours. The library also has computers with internet access and book resource databases.
It also has tablets and e-readers (Kindles).
Classrooms at The CCPA School are technologically equipped. They feature smart boards and internet connectivity.
They are equipped with lockers for storing materials. The furniture and decor stimulate learning.
The number of students per classroom is 25 per section.
A meal service with a healthy menu is provided through an outsourced service.
Parents have the option to use the school lunch service or bring lunch from home. servicio de almuerzo que provee el colegio, o de traer el almuerzo de sus casas.
Students may buy snacks from the canteen if their parents choose, or bring their own snacks. la merienda de la cantina si sus padres así lo desean, o traer la merienda de sus casas.
Once the school year begins, the canteen and dining hall hours and the monthly lunch menu for those who use the service will be provided.
Snack bags, lunchboxes, and backpacks must be clearly labeled with the student’s name and grade.
Starting in the first weeks of classes, parents will receive the list of books that each grade will use.
The list of school supplies needed for the school year will be sent out months before the start of classes.
THE CCPA SCHOOL has a nurse who provides services during school hours, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The nurse is the only person authorized at the school to administer medication, with prior consultation and authorization from parents.
Parents must provide any medication to be administered during the school day to the nurse, with the appropriate instructions. The nurse can only administer medication to students when accompanied by a written permission slip from parents, or when authorization is received through a valid phone communication.
The school currently has EPEM services
THE CCPA SCHOOL has security guards from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the safety of students, staff, and property.
There are also security cameras in common areas.
The school does not offer a private school transportation service but provides a list of companies that offer this service for parents to contact directly.
School ceremonies and events follow the official calendar in effect, and attendance is mandatory starting from Preschool.
National symbols will be respected and presented at all official ceremonies. The Paraguayan and American flags will be raised or lowered according to official regulations.
The community spirit is perceived, with a strong emphasis on friendship and camaraderie among everyone.
There is a cordial, family-like atmosphere with ongoing support from the various staff and administrative, technical, and service personnel.
An important aspect noted is the connection with the local community, reflecting solidarity with others.
